Puppy Abandoned At The Airport

There are times in our lives when we need to let go even if it breaks our heart. And this was what happened to a 3-month old puppy named Chewy.

He was rescued by Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue

Chewy was left at the airport by her owner who was having major problems in her personal life.  She made a last minute decision to go to the airport and buy a ticket without any notice. She was unable to take the dog on the airplane without a proper pet carrier and papers; and according to the note she left, she just wanted to make her beloved pet found a place where he would be loved and taken care of.

The shelter received a mountain of adoption requests

Chewy was left in the airport bathroom, and luckily, he was found by Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue. The rescue posted about the sweet dog's story and a picture of the note. It immediately went viral on Facebook, and when it hit the news, the shelter received a mountain of adoption requests. Because of the number of requests, the rescue needed to stop taking applications.

Chewy is now doing great

It looks like Chewy is off to a good start on finding a new home that will love and take care of him. Thanks to Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue for helping Chewy. For sure Chewy will be forever grateful for the help you've given!
