Office Cat "Pompous Albert" Earns Internet Fame

In Salt Lake City, there is a certain office cat that has a scary looking face; he sends computer mice running fast for cover. "He looks like he's preparing to take over the world," said Deana Peat, who works at a Utah business where the cat stays.

The name of the cat is "Pompous Albert," and he's famous on Instagram for his appearance. Pompous Albert is a Selkirk Rex breed of cat and was adopted by the office after an employee couldn't keep him anymore.

"We were surprised," said Mike Singleton, who owns the business. "When we talk to other people, they get excited about it. Their most common response is, What? a cat?' and then they see how many Instagram followers he has."

Pompous Albert became so famous that Honda, a car company came calling a few months ago, asking him to be in a commercial.

Despite his scary looks, the employees at the office have nothing but great things to say about him.
