Little Girl With Special Condition Had Her 'American Girl' moment.

Kristin Kimble from New Lenox, Illinois, confessed that she was surprised when her daughter was selected to appear in the American Girl catalog in October. Nevertheless, she never doubted her 4-year-old daughter, Ivy, who has down syndrome could do anything she sets her mind too.

Ivy got her first modeling task after a few days.

Kristin told TODAY Parents, that it was a huge call. She also recalls that she and Ivy were in the room for about 2 minutes and informed that they would be in touch. Ivy got her first modeling task after a few days.

According to Kristin, people appreciated her daughter. They wanted to get along with her because of her courage, determination, and magnetic personality.

Ivy nailed it and was able to follow the instructions.

Ivy teamed up with another little girl in the photoshoot that lasted for about 2 hours for the American Girl holiday-spread they posed with dolls wearing sparkly red dresses.

Her mother was a bit nervous about how the photo shoot will go because of Ivy's sensory problems; however, Ivy nailed it and was able to follow the instructions.

Kristin is so proud of what Ivy can do.

Hanging out in the hair and makeup trailer was the best part for Ivy. According to Kristin, her daughter was sitting inside the van and having a conversation with the ladies. Ivy also pretends to do makeup on her friends, which proves how girly she is. Her mother knew that the campaign would have a continues to impact.

Kristin is so proud of her daughter as Ivy showcases what she can do, and it's like telling the world that she's an "American Girl."
