Kid Rock reportedly paid off the layaway tabs for 350 customers at a Walmart in Nashville, Tennessee.
Kid Rock got the idea from actor and director Tyler Perry
He was inspired by actor and filmmaker Tyler Perry, who recently paid off more than $430,000 in layaways at an Atlanta Walmart.
It is a pretty Nashville proud moment
Kid Rock expressed his gratitude to Perry on Twitter and said, "@tylerperry Great idea! I followed your lead and paid off the layaway at my local Walmart in Nashville. Merry Christmas and God Bless You!"
Kudos to Kid Rock for making such a kind gesture
A manager at Walmart on Dickerson Road in Nashville verified to FOX 17 Kid Rock had paid $81,000 in layaway bills at the store.
It appears Rock's Christmas spirit was not diminished after being withdrawn as the grand marshal of the Nashville Christmas for comments he made about Joy Behar on Fox & Friends.
