Dogs Owned By Homeless People Were Given Winter Coats
There are millions of people around the globe who are homeless and living on the streets and many of them have pets. These pets help bring them comfort and joy even through the hardest of times.
Inspectors from RSPCA daily duties - on lookout for any homeless individuals and their pets.
And one devoted rescue group decided to give a special holiday gift to the pets who do so much for the owners who take care and love them.
There are nearly 300,000 people are homeless in Britain.
This year, employees of the RSPCA are wandering the streets, looking for homeless individuals and their pets. Giving them unique waterproof coats to help keep their pets warm all winter long. Temperatures have dropped below 10 degrees in many areas, and the RSPCA hopes that these coats will help ensure the dogs are all safe and healthy, and will also help their parents worry about them a little less.

“While we can’t help all of them, we wanted to do something to show some kindness during these winter months,” Amy Quirk, director of field operations for the RSPCA, said in a press release. “As many of these people told us, their dogs are their lifeline, and they want to do the very best for them, so by handing out these coats, we are just helping them in a small way to keep the pets they rely on so much happy and healthy.”
Everybody who received coats were very grateful.
As inspectors with the RSPCA go about their daily duties, they’ll be on the lookout for any and all homeless individuals and their pets …
And every time they find a pair, they’ll be sure to give them one of the coats they have on hand, making sure it fits the pet comfortably before heading off on their way again.
Pets are everything to their owners.
Every person who has received a coat for his or her dog so far has been so incredibly grateful …
And the dogs seem pretty excited about them, too.
We should all value our pets for they are our most genuine companion in life.
“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.”
