Andrea Masella and Ronnie Brower have lost a combined 578 pounds.
A Couple That Trains Together, Stays Together
A couple from Syracuse, New York, met at Mission Fitness Gym and didn't know that they will end up tying the knot together.
Meet Ronnie Brower and Andrea Masella. They first met in a gym with one common goal -- to lose weight. Ronnie weighed 675 pounds while Andrea weighed 250 pounds.

Ronnie said that he rarely left his parent's house. He got depressed, addicted to pills and alcohol, eating ten double cheeseburgers or two large pizzas at the same time.
He was 28 years old when his doctor told him that he would be dead before reaching 30 years old if he keeps on doing his lifestyle.
Ronnie’s with excess skin due to massive incredible weight shed off.
Ronnie got frustrated. He began dieting and working out on his way to losing 458 pounds. He didn't know that his four-year fitness journey earned him the admiration of a woman, who like him, was trying to lose a lot of weight.
Meet Andrea Masella. She was midway through her 120-pound weight loss journey before he met Ronnie. She also said that she was hoping to meet someone that lives healthy like her.
Amazing couple who met in the gym, lost weight and fell inlove
Nick Murphy, the owner of Mission Fitness, stated that Andrea approached him and asked about what posted on Facebook -- something about needing to make a change or die. And she wanted to meet the one who posted it.
That’s when Cupid struck. Andrea had been following Ronnie's weight loss journey on his Facebook page, and she found him to be an inspiration when he lost 600 lbs to Success.
Ronnie’s proposal.
In 2014, Andrea had her own weight loss journey. She was able to lose 120 after hitting 250 pounds. She said that they (she and Ronnie) came from a place where food was their coping mechanism. They have gone through counseling and have figured out why they ate that way.
Andrea said that it was love at first sight. She even stated that she thought Ronnie was super cute. They started talking at the gym, had their first date playing ping pong and basketball. And the rest was history.
Ronnie underwent an intense four surgeries to remove 30 pounds of his sagging skin. And he said he was grateful for the love and care of Andrea.
Save the date.
The couple got married last May 13th at the Christian Church where Nick Murphy was Ronnie's best man. Nick, according to Ronnie, was the one who told him years ago that he would find a woman someday who will share his interests in fitness and health.
Congratulations, Andrea and Robin. Thank you for being an inspiration. The couple that trains together really stays together indeed! Thumbs up!
