Adorable Photo Shoot With Their "Newborn" Puppy

It's a universal truth that once you hit a certain age and have been with your significant other for long enough without having kids, every relative, married friend, and even taxi driver won't stop asking you, "Hey, how come you don't have kids yet?" And one couple found a way to respond to the interrogations that's truly adorable.

Having a baby is a beautiful thing.  And it's been a tradition to some parents to take photos of their babies since birth. And one couple did an adorable photo shoot for their baby -- a puppy!

Meet an Australian couple Matt and Abby asked their friend, professional photographer Elisa Minette, to do a traditional newborn baby photo shoot — but with a twist.  A photo shoot of their newly adopted puppy, Humphry.

According to Elisa, "the shoot was hilarious. Everything went so smoothly. The pup was enjoying every second of it, and all the treats he was getting", she also said.

Check out the photos of the baby -- I mean, puppy, that Elisa shared on her Facebook page.

"We did this shoot just for a little bit of humor between ourselves and our closest family and friends that have the same sense of humor as us," she said. "We did not expect this to get as big as it has. This shoot wasn't done to make fun of new parents or to make fun of parents who overshare their baby photos on social media."

Minette shared the photos on her Facebook page and quickly went viral.

Because having a baby is a beautiful thing. But, as this photo shoot clearly proves, having a puppy can be just as awesome.
