A Dad's Heartwarming Surprise Birthday Gift

Jeff was out celebrating his 50th Birthday alone with his wife.

As Jeff and his wife Melanie sat at the table talking about the dreary weather outside. The time slowly passes by; Jeff was thinking only if only his kids could be there to make things a little better and make their family complete.

Melanie was secretly filming the moment.

You see Jeff's birthday wish was for his three children to be with him on his special day, but sadly, his two sons are in the military, and his daughter is away in college. He knew his birthday wish wasn't going to happen, and he was trying to make the most out of his big day, but little did he know that he had a surprise coming that would have him burst into tears.

Eating chips and salsa was the only thing that could brighten up his birthday mood because he was missing his kids so bad. It was impossible not to notice the disappointment he was feeling, but even though he was turning 50 without his kids around him, he still was trying to keep a positive attitude and enjoy his time with his wife.

Jeff was surprised, he couldn’t believe his eyes!

Jeff was completely unaware of what Melanie was hiding from him.

He then looked over at the front door and was shocked on what he saw. He was trying to see through the tears in his eyes; his blurred vision had him questioning if what he saw was really true or was he just dreaming. Two people made their way towards Jeff, and the closer they got, the more emotional it became. He couldn't believe his eyes. It just seemed too good to be true.

Melanie was secretly filming the whole time knowing that this moment was one that they would never want to forget. This dad learned that he is never too old to make a wish as he reached his arms open wide for a hug. His kids were able to pull off the ultimate surprise for dad's 50th birthday in the precious moment for the whole family. Dad's emotional reaction is one you just can't miss.
