Mom Tackles Boredom in a Whole New Level

Sometimes, when you have nothing to do and boredom strikes, your creative imagination suddenly kicks in. Just like the mother of three swips into action who happens to take photos of her family with anything idea that pops into her head.

Meet Kate Weiland. She is the creator of the delicious (and totally ridiculous) photography food series "Our family bites" (#ourfamilybites).

Kate's latest project involves food and her family. She's the brain behind their outfit ideas - she dresses her family in unique food outfits. 

After their sushi picture went viral, she said to herself, "well, people don’t totally hate it is – so I’ll raise the steaks (HA!) and continue the project with some other cuisine".

She uses real food and confessed that the hardest part of the process is stopping herself from eating the props before finishing the shoot. "I’ve gained a few pounds in the process but it’s all worth it because #ourfamilybites has been the best boredom killer".
