Mom Confused Why Son is Asking for 2 School Lunches.

Josette Duran was confused about why his son asked her to pack an extra snack for his school lunch. She knew she had packed enough food for her son that day. When her son explained the reason, she was touched.
Ever since Josette has made 2 school lunches for Dylan. At the beginning of the school year, he asked his mom for an extra snack in his lunch box.

Confused on son’s request

She asked her son the reason why and the conversation follows:

Dylan: Mama can you make me TWO lunches today?
Mom: Are you not getting full, boo?

Dylan: Yes Mom, it’s for this boy. He only eats a fruit cup for lunch. Can you make him lunch too? I don’t think he has lunch money.

She felt the need to help

Dylan had noticed a boy, sitting alone every lunchtime with only a fruit cup as his meal. Josette learned that the boy's mom recently lost her job. She felt her heartbreak because a similar thing happened to her a few years ago. She felt the need to help. Since then, instead of just an extra snack, she began making two school lunches - one for Dylan and one for his new friend.

They were thanked heartfully

She had gotten used to packing two lunches when she received a phone call from the school principal. The boys mother got wind of the kind gesture  and found out what they've been doing and is grateful, thanking them heartfully.
