Recent California wildfire left thousands of people including celebrities homeless, made devastating damages to properties, forests and even domestic and wild animals were forced to flee for safety.

It was absolutely heartbreaking for people who lost their loved ones as well as no home to return to. And thankfully, there are people who step up and lend a hand to help those who are in need.

Just like this famous artist who is known to be outspoken and has a big heart.

Singer Lady Gaga decided to give back to people who were displaced to shelters due to the California wildfires.

The 32-year-old star dropped by a Red Cross evacuation center in Los Angeles with boxes of pizza, coffee, and gift cards.

And that particular day was very special for Gaga as it was "World Kindness Day", which is also her "favorite day of the year" according to a video posted on Twitter.

"Bad Romance" songstress spent 90 minutes at the Pacific Palisades High School shelter taking pictures and handing out gift cards. She even sang to a 98-year-old woman who was forced to be displaced from her home. She also took time to encourage people to take advantage of the mental health counselors on the site and to "share your stories and talk to each other during this time."

Lady Gaga rallied her fan base to help California wildfire evacuees.

Gaga herself was forced to evacuate her Malibu home as the wildfire spread quickly. She has been very vocal about the experience on social media, posting that the only thing left to do is "pray together and for each other."

It was reported that the Woosley Fire, which burned west of Los Angeles and swept through Malibu, was 40 percent contained and has burned 97,000 acres. The fire tragedy sadly has claimed the lives of several people and animals.

In times like this, we need one another to help and encourage each other to surpass whichever trials we have in life.

“Being generous often consists of simply extending a hand. That’s hard to do if you are grasping tightly to your righteousness, your belief system, your superiority, your assumptions about others, your definition of normal.”
