Husband Learns Hairstyling for Wife

Thousands of people were captured by the story of a devoted husband learning how to style his wife's hair.  Theresa could not do it by herself because of limited mobility after suffering a stroke 18 years ago. She loved the hairstyle so much that Andrew is determined to do it for her.

The post was shared on Facebook by The Foundry Salon in New Braunfels, Texas. The video was viewed more than 9.2 million times wherein Andrew was being taught by hairstylist Andrea Gomez.

It was Mother's day when the couple's children surprised Theresa with a gift certificate to the salon. She fell in love with the hairstyle but was disappointed that she wouldn't be able to do it by herself. Andrew was determined to make his wife happy so he went back to the salon to learn the hairstyle. 

When Andrea perceived the intention of Andrew, she taught him a step by step lesson on how to do his wife's hair. It was captured by Raigen Kelley, another stylist at the salon.

45-minute hairstyle lesson

In the clip, Andrew can be seen holding a hairdryer while Andrea demonstrates how to use a round brush to curl Theresa's hair under. He thought that he will just learn some basic tips but it ended up to be a 45- minute lesson.

She was brought to tears to have witnessed how amazing Andrew is, and how lucky Theresa is to have him. 

Devoted husband

According to the couple's son Steve, his father has been a dedicated husband to their mother. He has taken care of Theresa since her stroke and he has never complained once. He even got a driving job that still allows him to take care of his wife. 

For Andrew, it is a give and take relationship. It is his turn to take care of Theresa since she was the one who took care of their children when he was traveling for work.

It can make all the difference.

The couple does not have an idea how much of an impact they made to people because of their story. They didn't even know what Facebook was until their son explained it to them. So they are overwhelmed by the response of the positive impact this story has had on others. For them, you have work a little harder at your relationship and keep on doing things just because, never giving up. It can make all the difference.
