Against All Odds: Hurricane Did Not Stop This Couple's Wedding
A couple who are in love will eventually lead to marriage. And preparing for a wedding takes a lot of time and patience.
Planning where the wedding will be; who the guests will be and the officiator as well as, all the details from flowers, food, dress and more.

It is a once in a lifetime event for a couple and they will do everything to make it perfect, that's why planning ahead is a must.
But what if, tragedy struck and you can't do anything about it? Should you call it off or make other arrangements?
Couple Bryon Hughes and Cori Clark were in a situation that tested how strong they love each other.

When firefighter Bryon proposed to his police officer girlfriend Cori, it was not every girl's wish, it was short and not that very sweet.
"He literally said, 'Here, will you?' And I was like, I thought he was pulling out nose spray," Cori said.
It's hard to recover from a proposal like that. But Bryon was going to make up for it with their wedding.

"He called me and said, 'I found where we're getting married. I need to bring you here, but this is going to be the spot,'" Cori said.
Unfortunately, Bryon's shot at redemption was a disaster. The place he chose for their October wedding was the end of a jetty in Mexico Beach, Florida, which ended up being ground zero for Hurricane Michael.
House they rented for the wedding party has vanished, no one knows where it is. Hurricane Michael washed away everything except the ocean view. Even the pavilion where they planned to hold the ceremony was only just crooked timbers. So obviously, they had to call it off.
Bryon and Cori’s love to each other defeats Hurricane Michael.
For first responders like them, in the wake of the storm, they barely had time to shower let alone fashion table decorations. In fact, Cori said the wedding was the last thing on her mind the day Bryon came up with his crazy idea.
But Byron, still positive, said something has to happen something good, even just a pinch.
"So he told me, you know, Hurricane Michael has taken so much from us and from everybody. We can't let it take away our wedding day," Cori said.
Panama City Police Detective Cori Clark and Mexico Beach Firefighter Bryon Hughes tied the knot.
So on the same day that they had planned to get married originally, bride and groom walked down an aisle of the ruble to a broken concrete altar. Their guests were mostly coworkers and Cory's wedding dress was $90 on Amazon. But the ceremony was everything Cori dreamed of.
"We were almost in our own little bubble. Everything about it just ended up being perfect," Cori said.
Hurricane Michael tried to spoil their precious moment. But it turns out even hurricanes are no match for the formidable force of nature we call love.
