Carter has now lived longer than any other US president in history; he was born on October 1st, 1924. The title was given before to the late George H.W. Bush before he passed away at 94 years and 171 days old in November of 2018.
He is also the head of establishing a new clinic in a small town.

In 2016, he was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma despite of his condition, he didn't stop giving his time and effort in building homes for the needy through Habitat for Humanity. Gladly, he was announced free of cancer several months later by undergoing immunotherapy treatments.
He and his better half Rosalynn have volunteered for 36 years in the housing organization and supported this project that established thousands of homes. They are also planning to celebrate Mr. Carter’s birthday in Nashville to participate in yearly Habitat for Humanity construction event next week.
Their tireless resolve and heart have helped to improve life for millions of the world’s poorest people.
